I also often wonder at how a newspaper or news programme manages to fill all of its pages and airtimes. The second that I go and look into it, I realise that they don't they just fill it full of anything.
For those of you that know me, you will know that I am not the world's biggest fan of the mainstream media as it is. I think that it is influenced by too small a number of people and not an accurate reflection of what the public actually need to know. I also often wonder at how a newspaper or news programme manages to fill all of its pages and airtimes. The second that I go and look into it, I realise that they don't they just fill it full of anything.

One question that I am often asked is not the standard "Where do you get your ideas from?" it tends to be "How did you come up with that place?" Worldbuilding takes a lot of imagination and creativity but there are some very simple rules to follow when creating a new world for your fantasy creatures to live in. 1. Make your world realistic- When you are creating your fantasy world, it has to be at least a little realistic. If it is a space age adventure, then hoverboards are fine. If you are creating a story about dragons in Medieval Britain, hoverboards may not be the way to go. Fallen From Grace- DART Book 1 was a roaring success back in 2012 when it first launched and finally the follow up is almost available. For those of you that have been following, Grace is an angel that is sent to earth to save the soul of a troubled young man. DART Book 2 picks up a little way in the future. |
