So, we find ourselves once again reaching the final part of another year. Whilst most of you are getting your "Movember" on us writers have another very serious project which we all endeavour to undertake each and every year.
November is "NanoWrimo" which stands for National Novel Writing Month and anybody that wants to participate can do so by logging onto www.nanowrimo.org.
The challenge is simple, for thirty days put pen to paper and get a 50,000 word first draft of a novel written in the month of November. This may sound difficult but it equates to only 1666 words per day and is more than achievable. I say that having only taken part in this once before and narrowly missing my target on Mermaid Memoirs 2 last time by two days.
This November though I will be focusing on completing my spin off of Fallen From Grace which has the working title of "My Favourite Colour is Aubrey." I won't talk a lot about the plot for now but will follow this blog post up in between my writing with a brief overview of what it entails. For the moment keep a check on the top right of this page to see how my progress is coming along and please like on Facebook.
See you all when I surface from my writing
